EDIT: Colored it. Tried out a more comicy style.
After learning Gen'Dai have skin and 'give birth' I can now Ship this pairing with out confusing myself on how the hell they have sex. Though there is a chance Durge still doesn't have a penis.
And you know this is real. Why else world Ventress pine after every single man in The Clone Wars? She just wants her Durge. But no, Cad Bane replaces him.
Any way, in true Pairing-nazi fashion, after I drew this I drew Ventress giving Durge a little love.
His penis looks awesome.
And now for the Gen'Dai way of life thing I made up in addition to what we know about them already.
Due to their long lives, and philosophy of "perfection of permanence", Gen'Dai held few things important enough to pursue, even breeding was considered pointless to their Philosophers. As such Art, and sex was rarely, if ever practiced. Females naturally only ovulated once every 300 years, so that combined with their ideas, led to a low birthrate. Males in turn had low sex drives despite that they produced sperm at a more human rate.
Gen'Dai breed in the same manner as Humans, engaging in intercourse. But they are not placental animals and females lack an actual vagina. The reproductive system is made up of glands and some of the only organs the gen'dai have. The male places a specialized, prehensile, bundle of muscles that contain nerve clusters and testies directly into a uterus like organ of the female. The copulation could last for an hour and was very pleasurable. The fetus was fed by millions of capillaries. After five years of pregnancy, the newborn was expelled from the female's body to be cared for for about two hundred years.
Male and female Gen'Dai were difficult to tell apart. Females tended to be leaner and their faces more slender. However, a lack of breasts, hair, and 'child bearing hips' left most species in the dark, leaving some to think they were monogendered. Females also had larger mandibles- which act as ears for the Gen'Dai- and long extensions that curve around the back of the head. This trait was rarely spotted as few left the Gen'Dai foatilla or ever removed their heavy armor.
Gen'Dai lacked bones, their heads only managing to keep a constant defined shape because of cartilage. The rest of their bodies were a mass of corded muscles, capillaries and nerve clusters. Many could not hold a humanoid shape without the help of heavy armor or a skin like covering that was composed of solidified gland secretions. If they trained themselves, they could manage to hold a humanoid form. They circulated blood via muscle contractions and were capable of cutting of blood flow it they were cut. Gen'Dai breathed either through their very tissue, or used their muscles to draw air through their mouths, coating their capillaries with oxygen.
They were surprisingly elastic, able to stretch themselves out to strike foes at a distance. They also could regenerate quickly, regrowing limbs in weeks, or reattaching them in mere seconds. Some could even use their gland secretions to harden their hands, making claws.
The older the Gen'dai, the more prone to various forms of psychosis they were. One of the most common suffered was Thought Disorder, Catatonia, and delusions. They also suffered from Mania.
